SOOTHING AND CALMING
Chamomile is one of the oldest, most widely used and well documented medicinal plants in the world. It has been used for centuries as an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, mild astringent and healing medicine.
The main constituents of chamomile flowers are polyphenol compounds, including apigenin, which is known to have anti-inflammatory activity.
In Europe, according to the Committee on Herbal Medicinal Products (HMPC), preparations of Chamomilla recutita flowers are traditional herbal medicines used for treatment of symptoms of different indications such as minor gastrointestinal complaints.
Chamomile can also be used as a flavoring agent in food and beverages or as an active ingredient in personal care products formulated in creams, mouthwash and soaps.
Used to support the immune system and to promote digestive health as well as to promote relaxation.
Produced in Spain in a NSF GMP certified production facility.
According to the literature, chamomile preparations have been assessed in several human trials in different health areas such as digestive health and cognitive health (sleep support and calming effects).
